The Department of Religious Studies invites applications for an anticipated part time lecturer position in Persian language for the academic year 2008/09.
Applicants should have a Master’s degree in a field related to language teaching, native or near native fluency of Persian, significant teaching experience, linguistic knowledge of
Persian language, and familiarity with current theories in second-language acquisition and language pedagogy. The department is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through teaching and service.
The salary is based on U.C. scale and depends upon qualifications. Terms and conditions of employment are subject to U.C. policy and any appropriate collective bargaining
agreement.
