Areas of Specialization: Band Director; Bassoon; Clarinet; Composition; Conducting; Doublebass; Ethnomusicology; Flute; Gospel Choir; Jazz Ensemble Director; Oboe; Percussion; Piano; Theory; Trombone; Trumpet; ViolinçVocal Coach; and Voice; and all other instruments as may be necessary.

Positions open until filled.

Applications are invited for anticipated temporary academic teaching positions in the academic year 2007- 2008 in the above-mentioned areas. Appointments will vary from 10% to 100% time, depending on workload assignments and will range from one quarter to one year, with the possibility of reappointment (up to two years), dependent on performance and departmental needs. Applicants should have an appropriate graduate degree or equivalent professional experience and at least one year of teaching experience. The department is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through teaching and service. Salary is dependent upon qualifications.
