Area of Specialization:  Develop nanofluidic channels for DNA and protein hybridization, kinetics, and separations.

The University of California at Santa Barbara is inviting applications for a postdoctoral research position to participate in a multi-disciplinary, cross-cutting research project to Develop nanofluidic channels for DNA and protein hybridization, kinetics, and separations. The applicant must have a doctoral degree in engineering, physics or a related field. Experience in microscopy and micro-fabrication are desirable. The position is awarded initially for 1-year period, and may be renewed in 1-year increments for a maximum of two additional years. The position is available immediately.

Requirements:
