Area of Research: Integrated biosensors and In vitro molecular screening

 

Position open until filled.

 

H.T. Soh Laboratory and A.J. Heeger Laboratory in the Department of Materials at the University of California at Santa Barbara (UCSB) are inviting applications for multiple postdoctoral research positions at the Institute for Collaborative Biotechnology beginning during summer 2007 in the area of integrated biosensors and in vitro screening of synthetic molecular libraries (RNA/DNA aptamers, phage display, etc). Applicants must have a doctoral degree in Chemistry, Physics or related Engineering disciplines.

 

Appointments will be for one year with the possibility of reappointment on an annual basis in accordance with applicable personnel policies.  Salary is dependent on qualifications.
