Title:                                     Junior Specialist II

Appointment:                        Temporary, 13 months at 72.5% time (29 hours per week)                           

Unit/ Department:               Collaboration between the Gevirtz Graduate School of Education and the Student Health Center

Reports to:                           Dr. Merith Cosden, Chair, CCSP
                                               Dr. Ian Kaminsky, Director, Alcohol and Drug Program

Brief Description of Job:

The Junior Specialist II, will work under the direction of Dr. Cosden and Dr. Kaminsky to craft a CASE manual. The manual will be made available online to other college campuses as part of dissemination of CASE.  Job duties will also include developing presentations on CASE to be given at local, regional and national conferences. In addition, the employee will provide logistical and “content” support for the CASE informational visits that UCSB will host for sister campuses.  The department is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through research.

 

Qualifications:

Ÿ         Minimum  B.A in Psychology or related field required
