Appointment:                        Temporary, 12 months at 100% time

Unit/ Department:               Collaboration between the Gevirtz Graduate School of Education and the Student Health Center

                                               Dr. Ian Kaminsky, Director, Alcohol and Drug Program

Brief Description of Job:

The Associate Specialist II will work 12 months, full-time under the direction of Dr. Cosden and Dr. Kaminsky to assist in further refining the intake assessment protocol and developing the Enhanced CASE curriculum. The associate will serve as the Enhanced CASE counselor and will facilitate all Enhanced CASE groups. The associate will meet regularly with the Regular CASE counselors for supervision meetings led by the Program Director and Clinical Manager. With regard to evaluation, the associate will implement changes to curriculum and strategies as requested by the Program Director in response to ongoing feedback from Prof. Cosden and her evaluation team. The associate will routinely report on Enhanced CASE—progress made, problems encountered, and successes achieved—to Dr. Kaminsky, the Clinical Manager and associated CASE counselors. The department is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through research.

 

 

Qualifications:

Ÿ         Minimum requirement -  MA in Psychology or related field
Ÿ         PH.D. and licensed preferred.
