Temporary Lecturers

 

Areas of Specialization: Environmental Economics; Environmental Law, Social/Cultural Environment; Environmental Toxicology; Public Policy; Coastal Process; Planning & Land Use; Environmental Journalism and Literature; and Global and Third World Issues.

 

Positions Open Until Filled.

 

Applications are invited for anticipated temporary, part-time teaching positions for the academic years 2009-2010 and 2010-2011. Lecturer appointments will range from one quarter to tone year with the possibility of reappointment dependent upon performance and departmental needs. Term and conditions of employment are subject to UC Policy and any appropriate collective bargaining agreement. Applications should have an appropriate graduate degree and/or equivalent professional experience; at least one year of teaching experience is preferred. The Program is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through research, teaching and service. Salary is dependent on qualifications.
