The technology Management Program at UC Santa Barbara, College of Engineering seeks applications for temporary part-time Lecturer positions for the academic year 2009-2010 to help meet rapidly growing student demand for its rapidly growing programs. Our classes are offered out the College of Engineering and focus on the business issues relating to commercializing new technologies. Applicants should possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s and/or Ph.D., preferred), and one year of teaching experience is preferred. Salary is dependent upon qualifications.

 

Lecturer appointments will range from one quarter to one year with the possibility of reappointment dependent upon performance and departmental needs. Terms and conditions or employment are subject to UC policy and any appropriate collective bargaining agreement. The department is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through research, teaching and service.
