TEMPORARY RESEARCH POSITIONS

DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRICAL AND COMPUTER ENGINEERING

Area of Research: Computer Engineering; Communications, Control, and Signal Processing; Electronics and Photonics.

Positions are open until filled.

Applications are invited for temporary research positions for the academic year 2007-08 in the above-mentioned areas. Candidates should have an outstanding research record or potential. Research Engineers, Project Scientists, Postdoctoral Scholars and Visiting Researchers must have a Ph.D. Salary is dependent upon qualifications.

Appointments shall be for one year with the possibility of reappointment on an annual basis in accordance with applicable personnel policies and availability of funding. The department is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through research, teaching and service.

Applications will be kept active for consideration for all appropriate vacancies within the department for one year. Applicants must resubmit a new application letter each academic year to retain eligibility.
