Computer Science Department

Area of Research: Bioinformatics, Computer Architecture,

Database Systems, Foundations and Algorithms, Intelligent and

Interactive Systems, Networking, Operating Systems and

Distributed Systems, Programming Languages and Software

Engineering, Computational Science and Engineering, Security

Positions open until filled.

Applications are invited for temporary research positions for the academic year 2006-07 in the above-mentioned areas. Candidates should have an outstanding research record or potential. Postdoctoral Scholars, Project Scientists and/or Professional/Visiting Researchers must have a Ph.D. Salary is dependent upon qualifications. Appointments will be for one year with the possibility of reappointment on an annual basis in accordance with applicable personnel policies and available funding. The department is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through research, teaching and service.
